We have recently received a few queries regarding our charges for deliveries outside of Mainland UK; it would seem there is some confusion regarding Parcelforce charges. Parcelforce charge the same rate to any UK Postal Code, excluding channel islands and their charges range from £16.99 to £19.99. We pay a commercial rate which allows us to offer free delivery for Mainland UK and we are happy to pass this benefit onto our customers. However, when we ship outside of Mainland UK we pay an uplift in delivery cost, this cost has to be passed on to the customer as a delivery charge.

If you are in any doubt that our rates are not competitive, please click on the Parcelforce logo this will take you to their billing page;

• simply type in Why Wood Works post code RG21 6XG into the 'from' postcode box
• Then type your post code into the 'to' postcode box
• Then add the weight which will be anywhere between 4 to 15 Kg
• click next and look at the next day delivery cost, you will then see that our delivery cost are very competitive
